Last week, Governor Hochul extended the Statewide Disaster Emergency Due to Healthcare Staffing Shortages through April 30, 2022. The EO extending the emergency continued regulatory flexibilities to support the delivery of health care services, but did not extend the suspension of nursing home minimum staffing and direct care spending requirements.
