In a LeadingAge National advocacy win, HUD and HHS are now allowing all HUD-assisted multifamily housing providers to order weekly shipments of COVID tests for residents, staff, service providers, volunteers, and other partners.

LeadingAge National reports that Walgreens is offering to provide vaccination clinics in long term care facilities, in an effort to increase vaccine uptake among nursing home staff.

The audit will be conducted via a "Drupal-based" online survey. A webinar will be held on Dec. 13^th at 10 a.m.

The regulations requiring nursing homes to maintain a 60-day supply of PPE had been implemented on an emergency basis, and the deadline for permanent adoption expired before the adoption process was completed. Facilities have been advised to continue to follow the expired regulations.

The guidance provides practices that should be considered when COVID and influenza are co-circulating. It may also be applied in assisted living settings.
