E-FINDS and HEC Presentation

The presentation on e-FINDS and the HEC (Healthcare Evacuation Center) that was given at the July 2013 trainings in the greater NYC area for Hospitals and ACFs is available for viewing here.  This presentation, while provided to ACFs and Hospitals in New York City, Long Island and greater Westchester, is also useful for Nursing Homes and ACFs statewide to review the differences between the HEC and ESF-8 (Emergency Support Function 8, Public Health and Medical Services) functions, as well as the history of e-FINDS and accessing the HCS-based system, because both e-FINDS and the HEC will be used statewide.
