New Grant Opportunity for Telehealth Services Under SNF Enhanced Support Program

The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) has announced the availability of funding for the procurement of contracted mental health services for skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) accepting OMH patients meeting the criteria for SNF level of care who are ready for discharge to a SNF. The Request for Proposals (RFP) aims to address the psychiatric needs of individuals in SNFs through the provision of new telehealth technologies – including Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO), telepsychiatry, and teletherapy – to allow for cost-effective and efficient training for SNF practitioners and easy access to the indicated mental health services.
