Comments on CMS Proposed Nursing Home Staffing Mandate Due Nov. 6th
Members are reminded that the deadline to submit comments on the federal proposed staffing mandate for nursing homes is Nov. 6th. Members are urged to submit comments, to ensure that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) understands the realities of the workforce crisis and provider financial challenges. Our colleagues at LeadingAge National have developed resources to make commenting as easy as possible and email templates to help you reach out to board members, staff, family and residents, and community partners to do the same. It is critical that CMS hear what this proposal would mean for your organization, if implemented.
