CMS Postpones Use of Updated SNF Long-Stay Antipsychotic Quality Measure

(Sept. 12, 2025) In a memo released on Sept. 10, 2025, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the delay of the updated quality measure Percent of Residents Who Received an Antipsychotic Medication (LS) from the October 2025 Nursing Home Care Compare refresh to the January 2026 refresh.
