It is not too late to register for the last in our current series of CFO Regional Council meetings focusing on the current nursing home/managed care transition. Topics to be covered during this session include:
- Managed care contracting and operational issues;
- Participation in forming an Independent Provider Association (IPA) and Single Signature Contracting;
- Sharing responsibility, common pitfalls and concerns in the managed care relationship;
- Maintaining cash flow; and
- Billing and coding issues.
As always, LeadingAge NY is offering both nursing home administrator and CPA continuing education credits for the session. We recommend that members who could not attend the March 13 meeting in Utica due to the weather cancelation attend this meeting.
