DOH Issues Annual Warm Weather Advisory for Nursing Homes
(April 20, 2026) On April 8th, the Department of Health (DOH) issued its annual warm weather advisory for nursing homes. The Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) provides information related to prevention, recognition, and management of heat-related illness, as well as other emergency preparedness activities such as backup generator and air conditioner maintenance. Members are encouraged to review the DAL carefully.
