Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators Seeking Nominations for Two Vacant Seats

(Nov. 3, 2025) The Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators (BENHA) is presently seeking nominations for two vacant Board member seats. The seat requirements are that the individual have five or more years’ experience in the care of chronically ill or infirm aged patients and be a licensed and registered nursing home administrator who functions as the Administrator of Record in a voluntary nursing home at the time of appointment. The formal vetting process includes a background check by the Governor’s Office and NYS Police.
