LeadingAge NY is excited to announce that we will be holding a FREE informational webinar with staff from the Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health in Nursing Facilities (COE-NF) on Tues., Aug. 8th from 3 to 3:30 p.m. Established by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), in partnership with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the COE-NF offers certified Medicare and Medicaid nursing facility staff a centralized resource hub with easy access to trainings, technical assistance, and additional resources, at no cost. This resource was developed in recognition of the need to enhance care of residents with mental health and substance use issues. Join our presenters to learn more about the COE-NF, how they help facilities, what services they offer, who is eligible, and how facilities can access their services.
Please note that while these free resources are designed for nursing homes, some of the resources may be beneficial to other providers serving older adults.
