Increasing Training Capacity in Statewide Healthcare Facilities SOI Q&A Now Available

The State has issued a Questions and Answers document for the Solicitation of Interest (SOI) for Increasing Training Capacity in Statewide Healthcare Facilities. Members are encouraged to review the document carefully. Minor changes were also made to the SOI documents, which are indicated in red. The changes reflect that the funded activities can be inclusive of, but not limited to, disciplines, occupations, and titles that support the provision of patient care within health care facilities. Other changes are more technical in nature.

As a reminder, the due date for applications has been pushed back to May 3, 2023 at 4 p.m. ET.

The purpose of the SOI initiative is to provide funding to increase the training capacity of health care facilities to prepare, mentor, and train a steady pipeline of high-quality health care professionals. Nursing homes, diagnostic and treatment centers, and hospitals are eligible to apply. Awards will provide up to $1,000,000 per year for two years to eligible health care facilities.
