CDC Releases New Key Resources on Respiratory Viruses for LTC Settings
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently shared links to key resources on respiratory viruses for long term care (LTC) providers. With some of the most vulnerable populations at risk during the upcoming respiratory illness season, it is imperative that facilities make proactive efforts to prevent severe illness and outbreaks. From vaccination to early detection and education of residents, visitors, and staff, there is something offered here to assist facilities in their efforts to care for the most vulnerable population.
