Final Future of Integrated Care Meeting on Dec. 8th

The last of five stakeholder sessions on the future of integrated Medicaid-Medicare managed care will be held in New York City on Dec. 8, 2017 from 11:30 am to 2 pm. Those wishing to attend in person are asked to RSVP no later than Dec. 4th by emailing the first and last names of attendees to futureofintegratedcare@health.ny.gov. The meeting will be held in Rooms 1-2 on the 30th floor of 290 Broadway (at Duane Street).

The sessions are organized by the Department of Health (DOH), Office of Health Insurance Programs, Division of Long Term Care, along with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and are designed to help develop a vision for the state’s integrated care programs after 2019. DOH encourages plans, providers, and consumers to provide input. The topics on the agenda for the December meeting include:

  • Geographic Scope;
  • Consolidation of Existing Programs;
  • Platform for Integrating with Medicare; and
  • Considerations for Transition.

Earlier meetings were held on Nov. 16th, Oct. 16th, Sept. 12th, and July 20th.
