CMS Releases PACE Application Deadlines
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced the 2023 Calendar Year Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) Application and Waiver Request Submission Windows and Deadlines. CMS advises all PACE organizations and applicants that it will only consider Initial and Service Area Expansion Applications submitted to CMS that are supported by the applicable State Administering Agency (SAA) and include a signed and dated state assurance form. New applications as well as requests for access to the Health Plan Management System (HPMS) can be made quarterly in January, April, July, and October. Service area expansion and waiver requests can be submitted for each quarter by March 31st, June 30th, Sept. 29th, and Dec. 29th. The announcement is available here.
