QIVAPP Application Process and Deadline for Managed Care Plans
The Department of Health (DOH) has issued notices to managed long term care (MLTC) plans of the application process for the Quality Incentive/Vital Access Provider Pool (QIVAPP) Program. Please click here to access the DOH QIVAPP application. The deadline for an MLTC to submit the application is Friday, August 1, 2014. The applications are to be submitted via email to HCWorkerParity@health.state.ny.us.
QIVAPP funding is intended to support wage parity mandates by providing additional monies to MLTC plans operating in the New York City wage parity areas. The intent is to pass the funding through to the licensed home care services agencies (LHCSAs). PACE, MLTC and MAP programs are all eligible to apply for the funding. More details on the requirements to qualify for this funding are found in the DOH Dear Administrator Letter dated April 23. Total funding under the program is $70 million designated to be passed through the MLTCs to the eligible providers.
