On Tues., March 5, 2019, LeadingAge NY will be holding an Advocacy Day in Albany to speak with legislators and their staff about the needs of affordable senior housing providers, including our resident assistant proposal. We’ve recently gained quite a bit of momentum and legislative support for our resident assistant proposal, and a strong showing from our members will only bolster that momentum.

If you haven't already registered to do so, please consider attending this event – as constituents, your voice can have the greatest impact on representatives and staffers. Furthermore, if you register today, Sarah Daly can help you schedule meetings with your representatives.

On Wed., May 8, 2019, LeadingAge National will be following up on their successful "Save HUD 202 Rally" of 2017 with a "Senior Housing Now Rally" at the United States Capitol from 1 to 2 p.m. As more information is released about this event, we will share it with members, but for now, save the date: May 8^th!
