HUD Unveils Streamlined Website
(April 8, 2025) On March 31st, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) unveiled a newly designed and streamlined website, which HUD Secretary Scott Turner said will allow it to fulfill its statutory “responsibilities while efficiently and effectively providing vital information to the American public.”
In all, HUD says the new site features a 90 percent reduction in content from the previous website and that 80 percent of the traffic on the previous HUD.gov was on less than 5 percent of its pages.
At least for now, the agency also continues to maintain its HUD User site.
LeadingAge is interested to hear if any members cannot find information they regularly or periodically need for the administration of their housing. Members are encouraged to reach out to Linda Couch with any feedback on how their experience with the site has been impacted.
