The new and updated HUD-approved VAWA forms are for owners and agents to begin using immediately. Compliance will be reviewed during MORs, with findings possible for use of outdated forms.

The current compliance date is still Jan. 1, 2027.

HUD’s proposal would impact older adults and members of their families with caregiving responsibilities, as well as the direct care workforce.

LeadingAge had been expecting updated forms and fact sheets to be published by the agency for use by providers. The association is analyzing the HUD forms.

The call previously scheduled for April 15^th for LeadingAge members to meet with leaders in the HUD Northeast Region has been RESCHEDULED and will be held on Mon., May 4^th at 1:30 p.m.

Urge Senators Schumer and Gillibrand to sign on to their colleague’s letter requesting strong funding for key HUD programs.
