Federal Reconciliation Package Rescinds Some GRRP Funds The reconciliation bill passed by the U.S. House Financial Services Committee would rescind all unobligated GRRP funds, presumably those that would otherwise be used by HUD for energy benchmarking and the hiring of needed staff to help administer the largest of the GRRP awards.

Preliminary Injunction Granted for GRRP Housing Awards Freeze After a January executive order, HUD stopped processing and advancing most awards to multifamily affordable housing providers. The April 15th preliminary injunction seeks to immediately lift that freeze on congressionally approved funds.

HUD Provides Updates on Service Coordinator Grant Renewals, HOTMA Delay at LeadingAge Leadership Summit HUD stated at LeadingAge’s Leadership Summit that they hoped to publish Service Coordinator grant renewal guidance by the end of April, with payment expected in July or August. However, HOTMA implementation – currently set for July 1st – will need to be delayed.
