State Posts New Person-Centered Planning Training Resources

(Sept. 16, 2025) The Department of Health (DOH) Person-Centered Planning (PCP) Statewide Training Initiative has added the new virtual training sessions listed below to their September, October, and November calendars.

Please note: The PCP Statewide Training Initiative opens registration for new sessions on an ongoing basis, and those interested in training will see that each month there are new sessions available.

Person-Centered Training Opportunities!

DOH, as part of the PCP Statewide Training Initiative, is inviting you to register for upcoming training opportunities. DOH is happy to share that there are several training sessions available in the next three months, including their newest training module that may be of particular interest to Local Department of Social Services (LDSS) staff. Please keep reading to learn more and to register!

The virtual trainings are two-and-a-half-hour, interactive Zoom sessions on a variety of person-centered topics. Each topic presents a unique set of concepts, skills, ideas, and discussions related to person-centered thinking, planning, and practice. Please note: participants are expected to actively participate due to the interactive nature of the training. This includes having your camera on, fully engaging in breakout group discussions, and responding when prompted by the trainers.
