DOH Webinar on Home Care Minimum Wage Set for Wed., Dec. 13th

The NYS Department of Health (DOH) is hosting an informational webinar regarding the home care worker minimum wage increase set to take effect Jan. 1, 2024 per last year's enacted State budget. DOH encourages all interested stakeholders to attend, including providers and plan representatives. An opportunity to submit questions via the Webex Question and Answer (Q&A) feature will be available during the webinar.

LeadingAge NY along with other home care provider and plan associations have been in communication with the Department urging clarity and transparency regarding the wage increase as it is incorporated into the Medicaid reimbursement rates. The NYS Department of Labor's (DOL) minimum wage fact sheet is available here.

The home care worker minimum wage guidance webinar will be held on Wed., Dec. 13, 2023 from 1 to 2 p.m.

Following the webinar, slides from the presentation will be posted to the DOH website. Registration is required to attend.

Please register here.

After registering, attendees will receive a confirmation email with information about joining the webinar.
