Home Care Cost Report Outreach Session Slated for Dec. 2nd
The Department of Health (DOH) and KPMG, DOH's contractor, will soon be announcing another outreach session to address the audit process being carried out now as part of the Home Care Cost Report. Members should be working at this time with their KPMG audit team to adjust or complete their recently submitted reports. Members should be responsive to any communications they receive from DOH or KPMG.
This session is now scheduled for Wed., Dec. 2nd at 1 p.m. DOH and KPMG will be sending a message and webinar link as that date approaches.
As LeadingAge NY has communicated to members, while the current rate setting mechanism is not being changed, DOH has explained that it is not the purpose of the cost report to penalize providers. Providers should keep clear notes and back-up material to support their submissions.
