Revised LTHHCP Audit Protocols
Last week, the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) sent LeadingAge NY notice that the audit protocols for Long Term Home Health Care Programs (LTHHCPs) have been revised. The revisions reflect an extension of the audit period from an ending date of 12/31/12 to an ending date of 12/31/13, as well as some minor additional changes applicable to LTHHCP services in 2013. The new revision date is Feb. 15th. LeadingAge NY submitted comments on the previous protocols that were revised in November 2014.
OMIG stated that the audit protocols should be posted on their website this week.
