The New York State Department of Health (DOH) hosted a webinar on Jan. 20, 2022 on Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for the upcoming home health care services (HHCS) EVV implementation. The slides from the presentation can be found here. As members know, the effective date for the EVV requirement is Jan. 1, 2023.

The EVV Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) have been updated to incorporate questions received during the webinar. To view the FAQs, click here.

The Department has also added the applicable HHCS billing codes subject to EVV to the EVV Applicable Billing Codes, which can be found here.
