Fee Increase for Criminal History Record Checks

The Department of Health (DOH) issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) last week announcing a $1.50 increase in the fingerprinting fee for health care providers processing new hires. This increase will be effective Aug. 1, 2019. As indicated in the DAL, fees associated with the Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) process are not to be passed on to prospective employees.

For more information about the CHRC process, please visit the CHRC FAQs in the CHRC section of the Health Commerce System (HCS).
