NORC RFA is Posted

The New York State Office for the Aging (NYSOFA) has posted the Request for Applications (RFA) for the Classic Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (Classic NORC) Program and Neighborhood Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (Neighborhood NORC) Program.

Timetable for submitting an application:

Dec. 9th – RFA posted.

Dec. 30th – Last day to submit questions. RFA prospective applicants may submit written questions to Barbara Allison, the designated contact, via email at Barbara.Allison@aging.ny.gov or by fax to 518-474-7949. Questions may be submitted from Dec. 1st until no later than 5 p.m. on Dec. 30th.

Jan. 23rd – Answers to questions will be posted.

Feb. 3rd – Last day to submit Letter of Intent (LOI). A LOI is strongly encouraged but not required.

March 3rd Applications must be received by 4 p.m.

May 15th – Anticipated date to notify successful applicants.

Jan. 1, 2018 – Dec. 31, 2022 – Five-year contract period.
