Community Services Block Grant Hearing and Request for Comments

The Department of State has released its draft Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Management Plan for federal fiscal year 2015.  The CSBG is a federal block grant that funds local programs serving low-income and vulnerable New Yorkers, including the elderly. 

A public hearing on the Plan will be held in Albany, on Fri., July 18, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at One Commerce Plaza, Conference Room 505, with videoconference to New York City at 123 William Street, Conference Room 231, and Buffalo at 65 Court Street, Conference Room 208. Written comments on the proposed Plan will be accepted by postal or electronic mail until close of business on July 18, 2014.
