Home Health and Hospice Resources from the MAC
CGS will be offering the following educational events for home health and hospice clinical staff:
Oct. 21, 2020, 2:30-3:30 p.m. ET
This event is geared toward agencies, facilities, and providers who received an Accelerated or Advanced Payment from Medicare due to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Information will be offered regarding the repayment process and what to expect.
Nov. 24, 2020, 1-2 p.m. ET
Are you feeling confused or overwhelmed by recent, current, and upcoming changes to your Request for Anticipated Payments (RAPs)? If so, join this educational forum that will surely answer some of your questions and provide a wealth of resources to reduce RAP anxiety. The presenters welcome pre-submitted questions and will address those with priority during the question and answer session. Pre-submitted questions may be submitted to J15_HHH_Education@cgsadmin.com.
Jan. 13, 2021, 1-2 p.m. ET
Patients facing the last phase of life are entitled to all the benefits of hospice care, but it can be very difficult to identify patients who qualify under Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rules. This event will review the criteria and documentation needed to support the patient's terminal condition.
Feb. 4, 2021, 1-2 p.m. ET
Trying to make sure you have everything you need to certify your patient and that it is all completed correctly? Join this event to learn what an order should include and how to ensure the certification is completed properly.
Refer to the CGS Home Health and Hospice Calendar of Events web page for a full list of upcoming educational opportunities.
