DOH Announces Second Meeting of Post-Acute Care Management Work Group

The New York State Department of Health (DOH) has announced the second meeting of the Post-Acute Care Management Models Work Group. This Work Group is one of nine groups being convened by the Department under its Regulatory Modernization Initiative (RMI). The RMI seeks to streamline and update policies and regulations in an effort to ensure high quality care and reduce health care spending growth in an evolving health care environment. The other work groups will cover a range of topics, including telehealth, need methodologies and establishment, and primary care and behavioral health integration.

The second meeting of the Regulatory Modernization Initiative Post-Acute Care Management Models Workgroup will be Mon., Sept. 18, 2017 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the New York Academy of Medicine, 1216 Fifth Avenue, Room #2, New York, NY. Individuals who would like to attend should notify the Department by email here with "Post-Acute Care" in the subject line.

All work group meetings are open to the public and webcast. Webcasts are viewable on the day of the event here, and recordings are archived here. More information about the RMI and the Post-Acute Care Management Models Work Group is available here and here.
