CMS Posts Quality of Patient Care Star Ratings Preview Reports
The Home Health Quality of Patient Care Star Ratings Preview Reports and the Home Health Compare Provider Preview Reports are now available in the Provider CASPER folders. The reports contain data that will be publicly reported on the Home Health Compare website in January 2017.
Please note that the deadline to submit a request to have the Quality of Patient Care Star Rating data suppressed is Mon., Oct. 24th. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have laid out the directions on how to submit a suppression request in the Quality of Patient Care Star Rating Preview Report.
The October 2016 refresh of the Home Health Compare website will occur on Wed., Oct. 19th.
Since the suppression request deadline is fast approaching, CMS strongly encourages home health agencies to review their reports now in the event that there are discrepancies that must be reported.
