November is Home Care & Hospice Month

During November, we have many holidays and people to celebrate. This month, home care and hospice show their gratitude to nurses, home care aides, occupational and physical therapists, and social workers who make such a difference for patients and their loved ones. The work that is being done by direct care staff needs to celebrated year-round.

The week of Nov. 13th-19th is a special week for home care aides who deliver the much-needed care and personal touch to patients and their families. We hear so many wonderful and touching stories about patients who have been able to stay safely in their homes because of their aides. They play an invaluable role.

Nov. 11th is also the time to remember our veterans. On Friday, we have an opportunity to show our gratitude for all who served and are still serving our country.
