LeadingAge NY Conducts an Audio Conference on the BIP Innovation Grant

In March 2014, the Department of Health (DOH) issued the Balancing Incentive Program (BIP) Innovation Fund Request for Applications (RFA), a great opportunity for our members. BIP provides states additional federal funds to implement structural changes to help rebalance the percentage of Medicaid beneficiaries receiving services in a home and community-based setting as opposed to institutional care. DOH has allocated up to $45 million for providers who have thought about different ways to help individuals stay at home or help them return to the community. If you have ever thought, “if DOH would only allow…,” this is the time to submit your application and test your idea.

On Monday morning, April 14, LeadingAge NY conducted a free audio conference for members on the BIP Innovation Fund RFA. Click here for the recording of the call and additional information that includes the Power Point slides and other handout materials that were used during the call.  Members will be prompted to login.
