DOH Extends Deadlines for Transitional Adult Home Activities

The Department of Health (DOH) has again extended the deadline for the Solicitation of Interest (SOI) for Transitional Adult Homes (TAHs) to convert to Assisted Living Programs (ALPs). It is now due May 30, 2014 by 5 p.m.  This opportunity applies only to certain TAHs, which are adult homes with a certified capacity of 80 beds or more, and in which at least 25 percent of the residents are diagnosed with serious mental illness. A DOH series of questions and answers to guide interested parties can be accessed by clicking here. We anticipate a broader SOI for ALP beds later in the year.

DOH has also extended the deadline for TAHs to submit their revised Compliance Plans to July 3, 2014.  Click here for more information.
