DOH Holds Hearings on Partnership Plan Demonstration Extension

New York State is requesting approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to extend the Partnership Plan Demonstration, an 1115 federal waiver.  The extension request is for an additional five years, from Jan. 1, 2015 through Dec. 31, 2019.  As a part of the process with CMS, DOH invites feedback from the public.

This waiver will enable the State to reinvest federal savings generated by the Medicaid Redesign Team (MRT) reform initiatives and to reinvest in the State's health care system.  DOH is also currently negotiating with CMS about waiver amendments that would enable DOH to implement the MRT/Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) plan to integrate behavioral health benefits and populations into managed care.

No pre-registration is required for the hearings. Speakers will be asked to register onsite and will be given two minutes to ask questions or provide comments.
