DOH Issues DAL Reminding Adult Care Facilities of Reporting Requirements

The Department of Health (DOH) has issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) reminding adult care facilities (ACFs) of their various reporting requirements. Specifically, the DAL reminds ACFs of reporting requirements regarding:

• resident deaths;
• attempted suicide;
• when it is believed that a felony crime has been committed against a resident;
• resident incidents;
• when reports of incidents need to also be reported to the Justice Center; and
• how to make reports after hours.
