DOH Activates 2016 ACF Financial Report on HCS
The Department of Health (DOH) has activated the 2016 Adult Care Facility (ACF) Annual Financial Report on the Health Commerce System (HCS). The deadline for submission for facilities using a calendar year (Jan. 1st to Dec. 31st) as their fiscal year is Dec. 22, 2017. Facilities using a fiscal year period that differs from a calendar year are required to file their report by the 15th day of the sixth calendar month following the close of their fiscal year. For example, the report for a facility using a fiscal year of July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017 would be due Dec. 15, 2017. This facility would report the information for their fiscal year to meet the requirement for submitting the 2016 Annual Financial Report. Annual financial reports must be submitted for all new facilities and for facilities with change of operator status operating for six months or more during the fiscal year.
Members are reminded that the Adult Home “Opinion of the Independent Accountant – Certification of Operation” or the Enriched Housing Program “Certification of Operator” statement must be printed, signed, and mailed to DOH.
