ACFs Will See Small Increase for SSI Recipients

The Department of Health (DOH) issued a Dear Administrator letter (DAL) announcing the cost of living adjustment for the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) rate for residents of adult care facilities (ACFs). Click here to view the DAL.

Members are reminded that you must provide residents with proper notice of a rate increase. The DAL specifies the timeframes and components of the written notice; please review them carefully. It also provides a notice to residents which must be conspicuously posted in your facility.
