ACF and Assisted Living Members Encouraged to Register for DOH Webinar on HCBS Settings Rule and Person-Centered Care

Adult care facility (ACF) and assisted living (AL) members are reminded that the Department of Health (DOH) will be providing a webinar on Aug. 17th at 2 p.m. regarding recent guidance on the federal Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Settings Rule and Person-Centered Care. Be sure to register.

As a reminder, guidance was issued on July 14th detailing requirements related to the federal HCBS Settings Rule, along with a Person-Centered Care Template. The guidance outlined requirements for all ACFs, as well as requirements for ACF/AL providers that have residents in receipt of Medicaid-covered HCBS.

Click here for background on this issue, as well as recent clarification LeadingAge NY obtained from DOH regarding the guidance.

LeadingAge NY has submitted several questions to DOH, which we hope will be addressed in the webinar. Members are encouraged to let us know what your questions are.
