DOH Reminds ACFs of Responsibilities Regarding Incident Reporting

The Department of Health (DOH) issued the below reminder via email to adult care facilities (ACFs) on Feb. 3rd:

Subject: Incident Reports Reminder

Adult Care Facility incident reports must be submitted to the appropriate regional office of the Department of Health ("Department") within 24 hours of a resident's death. In addition, notification of a resident's death must be made immediately by telephone to the appropriate regional office at the numbers below. The Department will cite adult care facilities who fail to meet their regulatory responsibilities.
