DOH Provides Recorded Webinar Regarding Changes to ACF Incident Reporting

The Department of Health (DOH) has just issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) announcing that adult care facilities (ACFs) will now submit reportable incidents to DOH via a new Drupal Survey, rather than submitting via the Health Commerce System (HCS).

ACFs may start using this process now; however, submission via the new process on Drupal will be required to report incidents effective May 1, 2023. DOH has developed a PowerPoint and recorded webinar to demonstrate the submission process and has updated the ACF Incident Reporting Manual to provide instruction and further clarify reporting requirements. A Resident Comment Form, DOH-5789, has also been developed.
