DOH Announces Transition to NYSE-CON for All ACF Applications July 1, 2019

The Department of Health (DOH) has issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) formally announcing that the New York State Electronic Certificate of Need (NYSE-CON) system will be used for submitting and processing adult care facility (ACF) and assisted living licensure and certification applications. Effective July 1, 2019, such applications will only be accepted via NYSE-CON. Applications received on or after this date which are not submitted via NYSE-CON will not be considered by the Department and will be returned unreviewed to the applicant.

The NYSE-CON system may be accessed through the NYSE-CON application in the Health Commerce System (HCS). Applicants who do not have access to the HCS must access NYSE-CON via My NY.gov.

Questions regarding this transition may be directed to the DOH Bureau of Licensure and Certification at acfCON@health.ny.gov.
