Pilot Training Opportunity for Personal Assistants in Assisted Living

Our colleagues at LeadingAge National have shared that members are invited to participate in a pilot training program for personal assistants in assisted living. The program, developed in collaborative partnership by the University of California, San Francisco, the University of Minnesota, and Elsevier Publishing, has been offered exclusively to state-run Medicaid programs in California for the past 10 years. Now, they seek to expand the training program to assisted living in the private sector and are looking for a small group of LeadingAge member organizations to test out the training materials through the LeadingAge LTSS Center.
