2017-18 IGNITE Class Shares Innovative Projects and Best Practices

LeadingAge NY graduated its fifth class of IGNITE Leadership Academy graduates at the LeadingAge NY Annual Conference last month. At the conclusion of the program, each IGNITE Leadership Academy graduate is tasked with taking what they learned in the program to develop and implement an Action Learning Project. This is a learning-by-doing approach which encourages people to work together to solve a problem or improve performance. The project is a way for our leaders to learn how to facilitate the group process, and inspire and motivate others to achieve goals and improve quality. It also provides an opportunity for the graduates to give back to their organizations, which invested in them by sending them to the program. Their initiatives are also of benefit to the LeadingAge NY membership, as they seek to address some of the challenges that so many of our members face. Click here to see the great ideas that the 2017-18 IGNITE class is putting into action for the benefit of their organizations.

LeadingAge NY is accepting applications for the 2018-19 IGNITE Leadership Academy class. Applications are due this Friday, June 15th! Click here for more information.
