Revised ALP Minimum Wage Survey Due Jan. 6th

As a reminder, the Assisted Living Program (ALP) Minimum Wage Reconciliation Survey spreadsheet is due Jan. 6th. On Dec. 22nd, the Department of Health (DOH) sent a revised survey, which can be accessed here. The Department asks that providers complete the survey even if they had already submitted a previous version because this is a new effort to collect the data in a way that they hope will result in better data. Additionally, the spreadsheet previously circulated had errors in it. Thus, it is important that you complete the survey circulated by the Department on Dec. 22nd.

Click here for an instruction document and here for a tutorial for completing the survey. The instructions direct providers to submit the data to the Empire State Association of Assisted Living (ESAAL) and submit the attestation to DOH at ALP-Rates@health.ny.gov. If any members are not comfortable submitting their data to ESAAL, they can send it to Ken Allison at LeadingAge NY at kallison@leadingageny.org, and we can submit to DOH.

The Department asks that all providers submit an attestation, even those that are opting out because they are not affected by the minimum wage increase.
