Healthcare Personnel Influenza Vaccination Report Due May 1, 2019
Members are reminded that the Healthcare Personnel Influenza Vaccination Report must be electronically submitted by May 1, 2019. All entities covered under New York Codes, Rules and Regulations, Title 10, Section 2.59 (10 NYCRR Section 2.59) are required to submit the report. Specifically, the requirement applies to personnel in settings that include nursing homes, adult day health care, hospitals, hospices, and home care agencies, including home care staff working in assisted living programs (ALPs). The regulation requires providers to document the number and percentage of personnel vaccinated against influenza for the current season.
This year’s report covers personnel employed by or affiliated with your organization from Oct. 1, 2018 through March 31, 2019. You can enter data now and then resubmit as often as is necessary as new staff are employed. The report may be accessed on the Health Commerce System (HCS).
