Healthcare Personnel Influenza Vaccination Report Due May 1, 2018
The Department of Health (DOH) issued a reminder that the annual Healthcare Personnel Influenza Vaccination Report is due by close of business May 1, 2018. The data must be submitted via the Health Commerce System (HCS). The Healthcare Personnel Influenza Vaccination Report is a report of an organization’s influenza vaccination rates, and nursing homes, home care agencies, and hospices are among the providers that are required to submit it. Assisted living programs (ALPs) must submit the report for the home care staff in their ALP. Nursing home members should take note that 10 percent of a facility’s total score under the Nursing Home Quality Initiative (the quality pool) is dependent on timely filing of this report.

The report can be updated and resubmitted as many times as necessary until May 1, 2018. Users are reminded to first Save, then press the Review and Submit button in order to successfully submit data.
