DOH Provides Answers to Questions Regarding ALP RFA

The Department of Health (DOH) has issued answers to questions submitted regarding the opportunity to apply for assisted living program (ALP) beds and capital associated with the development of those new ALP beds. Click here to access the document.

Notable clarifications include the following:

  • Existing ALPs are eligible to apply.
  • The Department expects that 100 percent of the beds awarded under this opportunity will be dedicated to Medicaid recipients.
  • An additional county, Otsego, has been included as an eligible county. Otherwise, no changes to eligible counties were made.
  • The Department is unwilling to modify the requirement that the number of requested ALP beds not exceed 50 percent of the facility’s certified/proposed certified bed capacity or 50 beds, whichever is less.

Anyone interested in this opportunity should review the document carefully.
