Certified Public Accountants

LeadingAge New York's education affiliate, the Foundation for Long Term Care (FLTC) is authorized by the NYS Education Department to award continuing professional education (CPE) credits to individuals who successfully complete coursework in the following subject areas: “Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Advisory Services and Specialized Knowledge and Applications.” 

CPEs may be awarded to certified public accountants (CPAs) for participation in approved programs. Please reference the program details to determine if a program is eligible for CPA credit.

 

To receive credit for your participation in an eligible program, complete the following steps:

1. Complete and submit a digital request form (emailed to you after an eligible program). 

2. Fill out the digital evaluation(s) provided for the program. 

Credit is awarded upon request via credit form and verification of the hours attended. Credit reports will be available on our website approximately 30 days following the program. 

To access your earned credits by year and credential type:

On this website, click the log-in button at the top right of the page. Once logged in, click the My Profile button at the top right of the page, then click the green Credit Reports button to access your available credit reports.
