Sign Up to Join the LeadingAge NY Public Affairs Council!

LeadingAge NY is excited to announce the launch of our new Public Affairs Council, a group of public relations, communications, and government affairs professionals of LeadingAge NY member organizations. The Public Affairs Council’s goal and intention is to allow for better communication and collaboration among LeadingAge NY and our membership as we work together to educate the public and lawmakers about the importance and value of quality, mission-driven long term care and aging services.

The Public Affairs Council is an open group for any professionals of LeadingAge NY membership with an interest in this area to join. Below are the dates for our first three meetings, along with some initial goals of the group. If you or a colleague would like to be a member of this council, please be sure to register here to receive meeting invitations and updates.

We anticipate that this council will meet approximately once every two months. An agenda for our first meeting will be sent to council registrants prior to Sept. 15th. If you are an executive or administrator and would like someone at your organization to participate in this council, please feel free to share this information directly with those individuals and encourage them to sign up so we can ensure that all information reaches the correct individuals.
