Reminder: Governor Cuomo to Deliver State of the State Address Tomorrow
LeadingAge NY would like to remind members that Governor Cuomo will deliver his 2018 State of the State Address tomorrow, Wed., Jan. 3rd, at 1 pm at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany. The speech will be streamed live here.
This year, the State of the State Address will coincide with the first day of the 2018 Legislative Session. The Governor is expected to outline a number of proposals, including a $100 million investment to launch the third round of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative, a request for the Commissioner of Labor to schedule public hearings on the impact of ending minimum wage tip credits in New York State, and greater student loan protections for college students and graduates.
